When rains pour
In such deluge
Why the earth shall refuse
Heavenly absorption?
When the showers
Don’t know the
Powers of ending
Why the earth shall bear
The pounding unending?
Seemingly endless downpour
When happens like daily chore
Earth-tillers may also find
The grind unstabling.
Well-bathed greenery
Decorated by streaks silvery
Tall deodar and pine
In solar love and inclusion
All dance, sing and shine.
Mountains pristine
Seem(s) to be in love
With the endlessness called sky
Amongst birds big and tiny
Only one is the darling dove
Here, there, everywhere
Your, thine and mine……
All exchange their sharp edge
And bloom in fine harmony.
